Q-KON’s more than 20 years experience to deliver telecommunication projects in Africa has established a core competence to design, plan and implement technology in most difficult and challenging conditions.  Being a niche player, Q-KON is one of the largest employers of these skills, all of whom has as their core task the management of these complex tasks for our customers.

Procurement

We have developed a specific capability to procure, integrate and deliver technology and solutions throughout Africa.

Implementation

Our involvement with major service providers across the continent provides Q-KON with massive collective bargaining power and we utilize this ability to negotiate extremely competitive costs for remote site equipment.

Support

The Q-KON NOC is staffed by qualified RF engineers with GVF Qualifications. Such skilled resources are very scarce, but through the Q-KON turnkey service becomes extensions of our call centre and pass on second and third level support with ease of mind.  Q-KON will enter into local partnerships throughout Africa to secure on-site support for remote sites.

Regulatory Coverage

In more than 20 countries, Q-KON has established relationships with local partners. We can facilitate regulatory compliance in one of the following ways (depending on the regulatory environment and the customer preference:

• The VSAT terminal licences are incorporated into our local partners’ global license and existing list of VSAT terminal sites;
• The VSAT terminal license is issued per site in the name of our local partner;
• A private network license is applied for in the name of the customer.
